Can I install the Fabric and vinyl upholstery?
Generally fabric and/or vinyl replacement upholstery is considered a “Do-It-Yourself” project. But, of course, there is no way of knowing your abilities on an individual basis so be sure to read the complete instructions and if you think you are unable to complete the task then you should find professional help.
Can I install the Leather Upholstery?
We always recommend professional installation for all leather upholstery replacements. Leather upholstery requires certain expertise and tools that are not required for other types of upholstery. Please inspect your upholstery immediately. Once installation has been attempted this upholstery is non-returnable except for fabric defects.
Why do I need samples?
If you are trying to match up your current interior you should probably request samples of the fabrics you are considering. These are considered custom orders and as such are non-returnable except for warranty issues or if the incorrect set was shipped. We are always happy to send samples because your satisfaction is our only goal.
What comes with the upholstery?
All upholstery sets come with hog rings and the hog ring pliers for easy installation. There will be complete installation instructions and tips on how to change your own upholstery.
How long before my upholstery ships?
Generally upholstery kits are shipping within 2 weeks. We will email you the UPS tracking number as soon as it ships so you will know exactly when to expect your new upholstery. Holiday periods and busy seasonal changes can extend this period.
What is your return policy?
Our upholstery sets have a one year warranty on fabric and workmanship. If you should have a problem outside of normal wear and tear please contact us so we may address your problem.
All our upholstery sets are considered custom order and almost always non-returnable except for warranty issues or the wrong set was sent. Please inspect your order and verify color, model and year immediately upon receipt of your package. You will have 30 days to rectify any errors we may have made regarding the order.
If you need to return your order for the above stated reasons please email us for an RGR number so we can arrange for proper credit when your order arrives. All incorrect orders will be treated as exchanges and the proper item will be reordered upon receipt of the original item. Once you attempt installation you may not return the item except for fabric defect or workmanship.
CARPET FAQS
Does the carpet come with padding?
The carpets have a jute style padding that is bonded to the bottom of the carpet for comfort. You should retain your old insulation also if possible. Using both the old and new insulation will give more sound and heat protection. Some of the newer vehicles can have the Mass Backing added to the carpet to achieve this same effect. The Mass Backing more closely duplicates the original factory materials for later cars. If you chose the Mass Back upgrade for your carpet, the jute padding will be included, but may or may not be bonded to the back of the carpet, depending on the application.
How long will it take to ship?
All carpets are custom orders and take 2-3 business days before shipping. The carpets ship UPS and we will provide a UPS tracking number as soon as it is shipped.
What color is correct for my vehicle?
The colors we list are good matches. We cannot guarantee an exact match. Different factories, different periods of the year can have different shade of carpet. If you need an exact match please request samples by email.
Will the carpet fit my vehicle?
The manufacturer uses an original vehicle for all patterns. An impression of the floor is made and the mold for the carpet is made from that impression. Always a perfect fit!
Will I have to do any cutting?
Cutting will be required. The carpets come pre-cut to the shape of the floor pan. There will be extra material around the edges for a good fit. You will need a very good pair of scissors to cut the carpet and insulation if necessary. The carpets do not have the cutouts for shifters, switches, seat bases etc. unless the listing specifically states otherwise. In these instances the carpet has been cut to accommodate the original equipment.
Should I request samples?
We always recommend that you request samples unless it is an obvious color – black for instance. The color sample appearances on computer monitors can vary greatly. If you are concerned with an exact match please request samples.
What is your product guarantee?
All items are fully guaranteed against any manufacturing defects. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with the quality of workmanship, please tell us and we will gladly replace that item. What is Mass Backing?
Mass Backing is a dense rubber backing to reduce heat and noise within your vehicle. Mass Back carpet more closely duplicates the original factory materials for many later model OEM carpets. Because this is a heavier product, there is a surcharge for this upgrade. The jute padding will be included with the carpet, and may or may not be attached to the bottom of the carpets made with Mass Back.
What is Poly Backing?
The Poly Back carpet comes with a jute padding bonded to the bottom for comfort. The Poly Back carpet is made with the same quality fibers but has a more flexible backing than the Mass Backing.
What about Floor Mats?
The floor mats are manufactured using the same pattern as the original. Every shape fits. The mats are constructed of the same high quality carpet as the carpet sets. There is a griplock non-skid backing. These are die cut or molded to fit each vehicle perfectly.
What is your Return Policy?
All carpet kits are custom made to your specifications. No exchanges will be accepted for products that have been used, cut / trimmed, glued, altered, or damaged through use. When returning an item, you must contact us first for return authorization. All items received that have not been authorized for return will be refused. Shipping charges are not refundable. You will have 30 days to inspect and make a claim for a defective product.
Does not Fit
We will issue a call tag for the return and replace the same item.
Incorrect Item Shipped
We will replace the item with the same item that was originally ordered. We will issue a call tag for the return.
Don’t like color
No returns will be accepted for dissatisfaction of color. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you request a set of carpet samples prior to ordering so that you can see what color of carpet that you will be ordering.
